Episode #41 with Sara Poirier
Sara Poirier is a consultant working out of the U.S. and Canada. She has 20 years of experience developing public programs and educational content for television and interactive media. Sara began her career as a staff scientist at the Ontario Science Centre. In addition to developing exhibits and programs, she regularly created content for networks like Discovery Channel Canada and TVOKids. Her science show, Ask Sara, ran for over a decade.
Sara has a MSc. in Science Communication and Public Engagement and a BSc. in Astrophysics. Her graduate work focused on communicating climate change with family audiences. Sara is currently a member of the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpreters.
